my name is Joe Castillo I'm in Walla Walla Community College in the John Deere program and the worker retraining program is making this possible because they've helped out financially, it helped out with me buying tools they helped with the day care services and also they've helped with gasoline for my truck. This is a torque wrench i received through funding from worker retraining. We're in a position where daycare was quite a bit more than we ever expected and that's a place where Kelly and Heather stepped up to contribute and its provided for great needs that we had. I have a wife and three children that live at our house in Prosser which is about ninety five miles away and so Monday mornings i commute to Walla Walla and I stay here during the week and on Friday after school I drive home. And since its obviously an expense for eleven weeks, that's twenty-two trips, Kelly and Heather and worker retraining has stepped up and help out with fuel. Signing up and enrolling for worker retraining program was very smooth, it was quick, mostly done over the telephone and a few papers to fill out and uh... I initially had one snag which was taken care of by Kelly over the telephone very very promptly funds were deposited as soon as school started and here we are today. uh... you should enroll in worker training because its available, the funds are there, they're willing and ready to help. you've been laid off of you're out of work displaced homemakers come sign up, that's what they're here for. Worker retraining has been great, a huge blessing for my family and I.
