Tennis Elbow Treatment



welcome to the Vitalife show I'm Doctor Janine Bowring and today topic it's all about treating tennis elbow naturally the tennis elbow of course is the common complaint in tennis players but also in anybody who's using a mouse perhaps at work or doing repetitive motions that are using the forearm muscle and the technical term for tennis elbow is called lateral epicondylitis and basically it means that the epicondylil in this area area becomes inflamed and there's there's an issue with pain and inflammation and of course the more that that muscle and Gribble muscles is used in more pain and inflammation that ensue. what can we do about it naturally well first and foremost I always recommend massage and massage right in the area where it hurts him maybe quite tender but moving around the tissue in Flushing on any lactic acid which may have built up from overusing that muscle is very helpful the other thing you can do is actually do a castor oil pack and a castor oil pack you can buy castor oil I usually do you recommend that you get a high quality hexane free organic castor oil from the health food store and buy a little piece of cotton flannel and actually soak that flannel with the cast oil and apply it directly on the area where you have pain and inflammation and what you do is then apply a heating pad and if you can leave this on the area for about 4 minutes is ideal so a good time to do it is usually in the evening if you're able to rest to read or watch TV and have your castor oil pack right on the area where you have that pain and inflammation this is really helpful for helping your immune cells to clean up any cellular debris that's there. It also helps with bringing the cells of your circulatory system and increasing circulation in the area where you have the pain and inflammation You can do this once a day for 45 minutes a great way to treat that tennis elbow and last but not least there are certain things that you can take internally that are natural to help with pain inflammation so first and foremost natural anti-inflammatory are the omega-3 fatty acids cell.
