
Ahh, sleep! It’s something we spend about one-third of our life doing – if we’re lucky. 70 million Americans have some type of sleep problem. If you fall into this category, keep these tips in min 20-The effects of stimulants can last as long as 8 hours, so avoid caffeine after 3pm -Exercise improves sleep patterns so fit even a small workout in each day – but no too late at night, because exercise is a stimulant, too. -Don’t eat a large meal close to bedtime -If you’re not asleep after 20 minutes, tossing and turning won’t get you anywhere. Head to the couch and read or listen to music before taking another try. If you aren’t catching your z’s at least 3 nights a week, and nothing is helping, you could have chronic insomnia and should talk to your doctor to find out about the many options out there for you.
