[ Music ] If walking is part of your exercise program, you probably won't if the weather is bad. Here's a good idea. Clean the house. Vacuuming uses your arms and legs and straightening up after the family exercises the abdominals. When I'm visiting with patients at the office, I'll frequently recommend for younger adults using a medicine, which can be purchased inexpensively and can help you condition your core, your low back, and your hips. For older adults or senior citizens, I recommend resistance bands. They can be used to help strengthen the arms and the legs. Also, using a stationary bicycle or a treadmill is a great way to burn off those unwanted calories.
