We need Black Gram, Red Kidney Beans, Onion, Tomato, Curd, Fresh Cream, Butter, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Garam masala, Salt, Milk and Honey to prepare Dal Makhani. Mix black gram and red kidney beans and pressure cook for 25 minutes on medium flame. Here, you can see boiled Dal in this bowl. Now, seperate half of your boiled Dal in a pan; and mash it. Mix this mashed Dal in remaining boiled Dal. Let this mixture boil on low flame. Now add beaten curd in Dal. Also add fresh cream, milk and honey in Dal. Let Dal boil continuously for 15 more minutes on low flame. Meanwhile, we will prepare tomato-onion puree in a separate pan. For puree, take butter in a pan and heat it. Then, add ground onion-tomato mixture in it, and let it cook for few minutes. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt in puree; and let it cook for few more minutes, till butter comes at surface of the puree. Now, add this puree in Dal; and let your Dal boil for another 5 minutes. Your Dal Makhani is ready. Sprinkle Garam Masala over it when serve hot.
