Hi this is Patrick with Social Eyes Marketing, and I'm here to talk about unethical SEO practices. If you're a blog writer, then you definitely want to hear this. So at the last place I worked at, we had almost a hundred people posing as up to five hundred false identities. These people would contact websites and blogs that match their backlink niche and approach them under false pretenses to try to establish a backlink. I feel that that kind of pollutes an individuals blog, the content may be ok but it's not honest, it's not truthful, it's not organic. I'd like to give you bloggers out there that accept contributions a few tips for identifying an SEO agent using a false alias. First, search their name or email using Google. If the author has several different posts or articles spanning across several industries, there's a good chance their an SEO content writer. So for instance, if they're writing a post about the financial industry and you Google them and all of their other posts are talking about beauty products or cats, there's a good chance their an SEO content writer. Many companies will assign aliases and emails and then delete them once they've got their posts up. So if you're dealing with an author that can't refer you to any of their other work, there's a good possibility that you're dealing with an SEO company. Lastly, request a phone call. If somebody is posing as Sally from New Jersey, and the caller ID and their voice doesn't match who you're expecting, there's a good chance you're dealing with an SEO company. So, to recap, just a few easy steps to ensure you're not polluting your blog with spammers. On earch for the author on Google Tw equest a phone call and Thre ake sure they're not writing articles spanning over several different industries. The reason why we're different here at Social Eyes, as we've outlined, we're 100% transparent, 100% honest; when we approach people we'd like to do content writing, we let them know who we are and what we're doing. The fact is that you can establish mutually beneficial relationships online, you can establish natural, organic links by building these relationships and you don't have to pretend to be someone else. Guest writers, I apologize for those of you that are getting the intrusions from Sally303's and everyone else and I would just like to make a commitment. We're not going to do that to you. We'll let you know who we are, we'll let you know who we're working with and if you don't like us, well, we'll let you know that we appreciate it. Thanks.
