Hi. This is Sectretary of Labor Hilda SoliS. If you're an unemployed veteran between the ages of 35 and 60, you may qualify for the Veterans' retraining assistance progam. Veterans can receive up to 12 months of training or education for industries that have open jobs to fill now. The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Departmen of Labor will help unemployed veterans receive this training and find jobs.
