This viewer asks, do you know of any all natural sleep aids that can help people sleep at night. Well this is a really common problem and luckily there are many natural products that are helpful. Herbs, amino acids and minerals can all be of value. So sleep is really important to recharge our batteries and many people don't sleep well, either they have trouble falling asleep or they wake up in the middle of the night even more commonly and can't get back to sleep. Usually it's their mind's active or things like that. You want to reduce your electromagnetic exposure with is often keeps the body agitated and honestly you also want to reduce some of the stimulants that you do in your day whether it's caffeine or other things because it can affect you when you're trying to rest and relax at night. It begins, in a nutrient support, begins with magnesium. Magnesium is a calming relaxing mineral, there are many products out. Especially women as they age can take some calcium magnesium together and men need magnesium also. Amino acids are tryptophan and 5-HTP they are serotonin precursors, they help support melatonin and sleep and calming. Gaba is another neurotransmitter that helps the brain relax and these can be taken at bed. And melatonin helps people regulate sleep cycles because if you can't go to sleep early enough it can help kind of facilitate that. I have one formula that I use, really, one I use myself that helps, as well as for many patients. It includes every capsule has 300mg of L-tryptophan, 200mg of Gaba and 2mg of melatonin and that's helpful. And there are many herbs that can be helpful for sleep. Valerian is the most common one, it's basically a tranquilizer that's related to the medicine, valium. Also skullcap, linden flowers, hops you know there's herbal formulas you can find as well. So in general, there are many nutrients and natural products that can help. There's homeopathic remedies as well, acupuncture and rebalancing our body's energy, relaxation before bed, meditation, getting proper exercise during the day. Spend some of that energy and so your body's more relaxed at night. And obviously not eating too much too late especially anything stimulating like chocolate, or hot chocolate or things like that you know will help your body calm down. And reducing your caffeine intake, lower your electromagnetic exposure, try and clean up your bedroom so that there's not a lot of electromagnetics in there. And those are some of the good sleep hygiene ideas, as well as natural remedies for helping you sleep better.
