Right now we are going to work on procrastination. Procrastination bothers a lot of people but it generally comes about from wanted conflicting things. You want to accomplish something but you also don't want to do it for whatever your reasons are. So right now think about something that you are procrastinating on and you don't have to change your words to fit mine just follow along with what I say but tune in to what it is that you are procrastinating on. First get a level of zero to ten where you fall on that scale. Zero it is great and you have no problems and ten it is really bad. So now you have your level just follow me. Even though I'm going to lead into another thing so you don't have to tune in to what you are doing just follow me. We are going to use a technique that is often called argument technique that addresses the conflicting feelings. So even though typing on the karate chop point even though I have this procrastination problem I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I want to get this done but I also don't want to get it done I accept myself anyway. Even though I'm procrastinating on this and I really don't want to do it but I may also want to do it. I deeply and completely love and accept myself. So now the eyebrow point "I am tired of procrastinating" side of eye "I want to get this done," under eye "I really don't want to do it," under nose "I do want to do it," your chin "I don't want to do it," collar bone "I wonder what it would feel like if I did get this done," underarm "I don't want to get it done," liver point "I don't like doing it," wrist "But I really love it when it is finished," top of head "I consider tackling this issue." If you notice in that round we address both sides of the issue, but I want to do something and I don't want to do. But often when there is some issues that you can't find resolution and you don't know how to move forward it is because you have conflicted feelings. It is a very strong pull in one direction and a very strong pull in the other direction and by using EFT you can clear out the side of the argument that is not serving you. Then you are free to move forward in what direction you want.
